Quaker Quest Discernment
Our meeting is now discerning whether to host an outreach program for seekers, called Quaker Quest, in 2011. Quaker Quest would be a series of open, public weekly meetings on Quaker topics that we would have at our Meeting House. Seekers who come to Quaker Quest meetings are usually very interested in exploring our contemporary spirituality. Other Meetings have presented topics like: Quakers and Worship, Quakers and Simplicity, Quaker’s Experience of God, Quakers and Faith in Action, Quakers and the Practice of Peacemaking.
We invite you to imagine strengthening our relationships and deepening the spiritual life of our meeting community, so that we are an open, welcoming environment for those who are hungry for what the Quaker way has to offer. Friends, attenders, visitors all are welcome to join us starting at 9:00 am. All proceeds benefit our camp and conference fund.
Second Sunday of every month – 12:30pm – 1:30 Potluck Dinner
Join us for Potluck Dinner. Bring a dish to share! Proceeds go to maintain our kitchen supplies
Third Sunday of every month – 11:30am – 1:00pm
Meeting for Worship with a Concern for Business
Fourth Sunday of every month 12:30pm – 1:30 Simple Meal
We gather downstairs the fourth Sunday of each month to share a simple meal and discuss issues related to simpler living. All are welcome. Each person is asked to make a donation equal to what that person might have spent at a restaurant. This ministry benefits Right Sharing of Worlds Resources
